"I am very happy that I spent my childhood with more adults than I did with kids my own age, because I was picking up more things from adults than I were [sic] from kids my own age," he explained during his chat. "I’m just, like, 'Dude, like, oh my God. Can we talk about the political and economic state of the world, right now?' Can we talk about what’s going on in the environment? Can we talk about other things?' I’m not satisfied at just, like, a party."

He also mocked teens who are more preoccupied with selfies and social media than important matters.

The Karate Kid star caught heat just a few weeks ago when he reacted to dad Will Smith slapping Chris Rock at the Oscars. "And That's How We Do It," he tweeted after the incident, hinting that he supported the King Richard star's actions.

After the Oscar winner apologized, it was revealed that he would be banned from attending the Academy Awards for a decade, though none of his kids have commented on the outcome.
