Jaden Smith Trolled For Saying He Likes To Talk About Politics & The Economic State Of The World With His Peers
Social media users are coming after Jaden Smith following a recent interview where he mocked kids his own age.
“I am very happy that I spent my childhood with more adults than I did with kids my own age, because I was picking up more things from adults than I were [sic] from kids my own age,” the 23-year-old explained in an interview which came out earlier this month.
The singer then vented about how younger people don't discuss important topics, such as politics and what is going on in the world. Instead he imitated the voice of a teenager, saying, "Look at my phone! Selfie."
“I’m just, like, ‘Dude, like, oh my God. Can we talk about the political and economic state of the world, right now?'” he stated. “Can we talk about what’s going on in the environment? Can we talk about other things?”

Shortly after, users couldn't help but roll their eyes at the remarks. One person posted a photo of Spongebob crying, writing, "8 year old Jaden smith when jada gave him a spider man themed birthday party instead of a book study on the war of mesopotamia," while another added, "Jaden smith when someone at the party doesn’t wanna talk about the political and economic state of the world."
A third person quipped, "Jaden smith on his way to curse out his kindergarten classmates for not understanding the complexities behind the current political climate."
Smith's family — his mom and dad are Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith — has been in the hot seat lately after the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air alum slapped Chris Rock at the Oscars after the latter made fun of Jada's lack of hair.
"And That's How We Do It," Jaden wrote on Twitter after the incident, seemingly praising his father for his actions.
