Waiting in the wings! Now that Katie Holmes' hot and heavy relationship with Emilio Vitolo Jr. is cooling off, her ex-flame Jamie Foxx is hoping for a redo, an insider tells OK!.
After Holmes, 42, and Foxx, 53, called it quits on their six-year, under-the-radar romance in 2019, "Jamie was disappointed, though he understood she needed more of a commitment," explains the insider. But Holmes, who made a point of packing on the PDA with Vitolo, 33, after they hooked up last fall, hasn't been spotted with the chef in weeks, "and the word is it's all over between them," the insider spills.
Now, Foxx's made it known that if "Katie wants to meet up for some no-strings fun, he's game," continues the insider. "She might take the bait because their chemistry was off the charts!"
Holmes was the one who reportedly pumped the breaks on her romance with Vitolo. "Katie has a lot of big priorities in her life — she's a single mom, her daughter [Suri] always comes first and things were moving very fast," a source previously told OK!, adding that: "Katie has a lot going on and Emilio is busy working at his restaurant with his dad."
The restaurateur and the Dawson's Creek alum were first spotted having dinner in NYC back in August 2020. Vitolo had just broken off his engagement with Rachel Emmons as things between the two were getting "serious."
The two made their relationship Instagram official in December, with Vitolo posting a picture on Holmes' birthday, calling her "the most amazing, kindest, beautiful person." She thanked him in the comment section with an "I love you."
But their relationship wasn't always smooth sailing as a source told OK! that Vitolo was "constantly checking out pretty girls on Instagram and even on the street when he's arm-in-arm with Katie."
The source also revealed that the chef was still in touch with some of his exes and had been bragging about how "lucky" Holmes was to have him and clearly not the other way around.
