Jenna Bush Hager opened up about her role as the primary caregiver to her three children.

Jenna Bush Hager opened up about her role in raising her three children with her husband, Henry Hager.

"I'm the primary caregiver in some ways," she said.

During Monday's episode of Today with Jenna & Sheinelle, the host explained that her children, Poppy, Mila, and Hal, often turn to her when they need something, making her role feel more visible within the family.

"Like they always want me," she explained.

Jenna made it clear that Henry also takes on responsibilities that may not always be visible.

"Here's the thing, and, and no offense to all the men, including my own man who does a ton for us," she said.

"A ton, and he does sometimes what he does is like, and this is in the same vein, is like kind of the unseen stuff like he's like—," she continued.

Jenna then gave an example of what she meant.

"Filing the insurance like you, you know what i say," she added.

Jenna said, "Quieter responsibilities where the stuff I will say most women, and this is very generalized, but most women and at least in my marriage."

Her co-host Sheinelle Jones suggested that the difference may simply come down to how couples divide things.

"That is why I'm saying like maybe we just, it's just different responsibility," Sheinelle said.

Jenna then described what she handles for their children.

"Like i'm packing stuff i'm for all the children i'm unpacking for all the children i'm signing up for all the activities," she recalled.
