Jennifer Lawrence & Cooke Maroney Expecting Their First Child Together
Jennifer Lawrence is expecting her first child.
The 31-year-old's representative confirmed the happy news to PEOPLE on Wednesday, September 8.
Lawrence and husband Cooke Maroney tied the knot in October 2019 in Rhode Island. They were first linked in summer 2018 and Maroney popped the question in February 2019.
Emma Stone, Kris Jenner, Adele and more famous faces attended the couple's wedding reception.
The pregnancy news comes after an OK! insider previously spilled that the Hunger Games alum and the 36-year-old were trying to have a baby. The pair had been "telling pals they want to start a family and that they’re trying to get pregnant ASAP," the source said in May.

While the Mother! star was already thinking about having a baby, after Stone and her husband Dave McCary welcomed their daughter in March, it became more of a priority for her, the insider explained. "Jen sees how happy Emma is with her little girl and it's made her want one even more," the source said.
Since she finished filming Don't Look Up with Leonardo DiCaprio, "Jen has cut back on the wine and is focusing on her health," the source explained. "She can't wait to become a mom — and she thinks Cooke will be a great dad!"
Lawrence previously called her beau "the greatest human being I've ever met" on Catt Sadler's podcast "Naked with Catt Sadler."
"He really is, and he gets better," the actress said.
"It's just — this is The One, I know that sounds really stupid but he's just, he's — you know. He's the greatest person I've ever met, so I feel very honored to become a Maroney," she gushed.
