Jennifer Lawrence's Husband Cooke Maroney Doting On The Mama-To-Be: Art Gallerist Going 'Above & Beyond,' Says Source
Secret’s out, bump’s out and the countdown is on!
Ever since Jennifer Lawrence confirmed she is expecting her first baby with hubby Cooke Maroney last month, she’s actively assumed a mommyhood mindset — starting with freely flaunting her growing figure on outings with friends.
But before her big reveal in late summer, the 31-year-old “took care to keep her pregnancy under wraps,” an insider tells OK!, explaining that the actress wasn’t ready to share the news with the world, given how much attention she attracts.
"Jen was a little anxious about it all, but she’s past that stage," the insider says, "Now, she just wants to enjoy this time, and she and Cooke can’t wait to meet the baby.”
In recent weeks, the Don’t Look Up star has been “feeling good and staying active,” says the insider. “She’s doing yoga, going for walks every day and keeping hydrated. Cooke and her pals compliment her all the time on how beautiful she looks, and it’s true, she’s absolutely glowing.”
Maroney, 37, who exchanged vows with Lawrence in a celeb-studded private affair in 2019, has gone “above and beyond” in his daddy-to-be duties, dishes the insider.

On top of attending the pre-natal doctor’s visits, the art gallerist is “making sure Jen gets her rest, stocking the fridge with whatever she’s craving and helping with the nursery,” adds the insider.
Lawrence has called Maroney “the greatest human being I’ve ever met,” and an insider says he’s at her beck and call during pregnancy: “He prepares her meals and offers plenty of back rubs.”
Meanwhile, the two "know the gender, but they’re keeping it to themselves for now," adds the insider. "Cooke can’t wait to be a dad and tells everyone Jen’s going to be an incredible mom.”
As OK! previously reported, pregnancy hasn't stopped the Hunger Games actress from supporting causes important to her — as proven when Lawrence attended the "Rally for Abortion Justice" in Washington D.C. with pal Amy Schumer earlier this month.
“I don’t have a uterus and she is pregnant but we out here,” the comedian — who recently revealed that she had both her appendix and her uterus removed — wrote of the dynamic duo being in attendance. In photos shared by Schumer, the Trainwreck star toted an "Abortion is essential" sign, while a glowing Lawrence carried a "Women can't be free if they don't control their bodies" sign.
