Jennifer Lopez Reportedly Bailed On 'The Tender Bar' Red Carpet Because She 'Can't Stand' Ben Affleck's Costar George Clooney
Drama at The Tender Bar premiere!
Ben Affleck stars in the coming-of-age drama with his A-list bestie George Clooney, who also directs the film.
Affleck’s main squeeze Jennifer Lopez reportedly skipped out on the red carpet over the weekend because she “can’t stand” Clooney.
“Jen famously did not get along with George Clooney when they made Out of Sight together. They couldn't stand each other,” a source spilled to The Sun, adding: “So it's funny that Ben's new movie is with George and it's no coincidence that Jen was not photographed on the red carpet with him, posing with George and [wife] Amal.”
Photos emerged showing a smoking Affleck leaving the premiere, where photogs claimed the “Let’s Get Loud” songstress stayed in the car throughout the carpet.
An insider noted “bridges need to be repaired” before the former costars can be friends. Lopez and Clooney starred in the 1998 thriller, which received critical acclaim and was a box office success.

The 52-year-old singer’s diss to the ER alum comes as her rekindled relationship with Affleck is hitting all the right notes.
“Things just keep getting better for J.Lo and Ben,” an insider exclusively squealed to OK!, noting the lovebirds, who called off their 2003 wedding, are looking towards a future together.
“Right now they’re headed to Texas, where they’ll be living while Ben films his next movie, and they’re looking for a new property to move into in L.A.,” the source added. “They feel so blessed to be living this real-life fairy-tale.”
A wedding could be in the duo’s future as OK! reported the Argo director was snapped looking at engagement rings at Tiffany’s in Los Angeles earlier in the summer.
On Monday, August 23, Affleck was spotted looking at some bling with his mom and son Samuel, whom he shares with ex-wife Jennifer Garner, in tow. The former flames also share daughters Violet and Seraphina.
