Jennifer Lopez was on mom duty over the weekend, as she treated her kiddos to a shopping spree and ice cream.
Though the pop icon — who shares 13-year-old twins Emme and Max with ex-husband Marc Anthony — has been busy promoting her upcoming flick, Marry Me, she found room in her busy schedule to spend some one-on-one time with her kiddos.
Not only has Lopez been consumed with her children and career, but she's also been working on being the "best partner" she can be to boyfriend Ben Affleck in the new year. Lopez got candid about her resolutions for the year earlier this month, with her insisting she wants to be the best she can be in all realms of her life.
It's clear the Latin pop star is determined to make Bennifer 2.0 work after reconciling last April, as the Hollywood couple already figured out how to work around their busy schedules.
"Right from the start, they agreed to be super open with each other, so they actually pencil in weekly sit-down sessions to talk about their feelings," an insider exclusively spilled to OK!. And when work schedules keep them apart, the handsome hunk "has to FaceTime Jen every night before bed."
Meanwhile, Lopez also knows how to keep the spark alive. The Hustlers star, 52, "is constantly buying new lingerie, which Ben loves, and if she’s away from him even for a few hours, she'll take a sexy selfie and send it to him," added the source.
As OK! reported, Affleck and Lopez first began dating in 2002, with the Argo star popping the question only months later. After calling off their engagement in 2003, the rekindled flames broke up for good in 2004.
However, they managed to find their way back to each other nearly 17 years later following Lopez's split from Alex Rodriguez. Ever since rumors of their romance began circulating last year, the power couple has done little to hide their PDA — and it's safe to say the public can expect a lot more of it from here on out.
The pair appeared to take the next step in their relationship by spending the holidays together as a blended family with Affleck's ex-wife, Jennifer Garner. Meanwhile, this wasn't the first time the couple's children have spent quality time together, as Affleck was previously seen taking his girlfriend's twins shopping along with his daughters, Violet, 16, and Seraphina, 12, whom he shares with Garner.

While staying COVID-19 safe, the "On The Floor" songstress and Emme wore face masks when shopping around at The Grove in Los Angeles on Saturday, January 15.
As always, Lopez stunned in a tan cropped sweater and long jean skirt while her youngster donned loose-fitted jeans and an oversized white sweatshirt.
Lopez and Emme brought Max along for their day out on Sunday, January 16.
The mother-of-two looked fierce in a black turtleneck top she tucked into a long white jean skirt. Lopez completed her look with black heels and a stylish black bag.
After switching up her look, Lopez was seen later that day enjoying some ice cream with Emme in Venice, Calif.
Emme removed her face mask for a brief moment to enjoy her ice cream cone.
