Jensen Ackles will reprise his role as Soldier Boy in the highly anticipated spinoff series Vought Rising, set in the universe of The Boys.

Jensen Ackles confirmed he has officially returned to filming after sharing updates from the 'Vought Rising' set on Instagram.
Vought Rising is described as a dark murder mystery exploring the origins of Vought in the 1950s.
Executive producers Paul Grellong and Eric Kripke explained, “It’s a twisted murder mystery about the origins of Vought in the 1950s, the early exploits of Soldier Boy, and the diabolical maneuvers of a Supe known to fans as Stormfront.”
Ackles expressed his enthusiasm on Instagram, stating that he is “ready to pick up the shield and get back to business.”
His return has generated considerable buzz among fans, eager to see more of the character.
Kripke confirmed that The Boys Season 5 will be the last.
He remarked on social media, “#TheBoys Season 4 Premiere Week is a good time to announce: Season 5 will be the Final Season!”
This announcement has led many to speculate how the spinoff will connect with the main series and its plotlines.
