NEWS‘Jersey Shore’ Star Angelina Pivarnick’s Husband Chris Larangeira Files For Divorce Months After Reconciliation
Angelina Pivarnick and Chris Larangeira are over — again.
The reality star's husband filed for divorce in Monmouth County, NJ, on January 20 just weeks after Pivarnick reportedly insisted she was "fighting" to save their marriage. A court clerk confirmed the news to Page Six.
Larangeira's decision to call it quits on their marriage comes after a tumultuous past few years for the former couple. From allegations of infidelity on both sides to an apparent lack of intimacy and Larangeira temporarily moving out, it's safe to say the two have been through the wringer.
The Jersey Shore star, 35, originally filed for divorce from her man in January 2021, but the case was dismissed in September.
"It’s been very hard. Hard is just an understatement," she previously confessed while talking to the outlet about dealing with their relationship troubles in the public eye. "The whole entire thing, since the day he moved out and came back in, it’s just been a whirlwind of craziness for both of us."
Despite going through more than a few rough patches, Pivarnick declared to the publication at the time: "I am going to try everything that I can in my power to save my marriage, no matter what it is."
The brunette babe eventually gave the 42-year-old an ultimatum, it was reported, telling her husband it's either couples therapy or they're done for good.
"That was it for me. If he wasn't going to go to therapy with me, I was done," she reportedly recalled. "At first, he really didn’t want to go to therapy. It was like pulling teeth. Eventually, you’ll see this season that I was like, 'Listen, if you don’t go with me, it’s done. It’s over.' He realized, 'I have to go.'"
The estranged couple began dating in 2016 and wed in November 2019 during a lavish, drama-filled celebration that was captured by MTV cameras.
