Josh Duggar Trial: 'Sad' Jill Duggar Reportedly On The Verge Of Tears During Closing Arguments
A sister’s heartbreak!
Jill Duggar appeared in court for the first time for her brother Josh Duggar’s child pornography trial on Wednesday, December 8.
In photos obtained by The Sun, the 30-year-old was accompanied by her husband Derick Dillard at the hearing. According to a court spy, Jill looked “sad” as she entered the Arkansas courthouse.
Once inside, the Counting On alum sat in the front row next to her hubby, her sister Jessa and dad Jim Bob Duggar. Jill “looked like she was trying not to cry as Derick sat with his arm around her,” the courtroom insider spilled.

Jill was expected to testify this week in Josh’s court hearing along with brother Jedidiah, 22, but neither ended up on the stand. One person who the jury did hear was one of Josh’s ex-girlfriend’s mother, who gave a damning testimony against the father-of-seven.
OK! reported Bobye Holt testified that the disgraced reality TV star “confessed” to molesting a five-year-old girl and “touching” her “inappropriately” when he was 15. Holt said the admission came during a visit to the Duggar family home.
“We have been friends with the Duggar's for 36 years. Our children were best friends,” she told the jury. “Our oldest was Josh's girlfriend in November of 2002. It was formal.”
That’s when Holt then tearfully described the moment Josh confessed to molesting the toddler. “On March 23, 2003, Mr. Duggar [Jim Bob] asked us to come over for an important matter,” she recalled. “They took us to their bedroom. Josh was on the floor.” Holt claimed Josh then confessed to “inappropriately touching” several girls when he was “12 to 15 years old,” with the youngest being a 5-year-old girl he molested during "bible time."
The 19 Kids and Counting alum — who recently welcomed baby No. 7 with wife Anna Duggar — is facing up to 40 years behind bars after he was indicted on federal child pornography charges earlier this year. In April, the 33-year-old pleaded not guilty to charges of receiving and possessing child porn.
