While several chapters of John Stamos' new memoir detail the harder moments in life, he also included heartwarming tidbits about his Full House family.

On Monday, October 23 — one day before If You Would Have Told Me released — the actor sat down on Live With Kelly and Mark and touched on how Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen reconnected with the cast following the tragic 2022 death of Bob Saget.

'Full House' ran from 1987 to 1995.

The dad-of-one, 60, began by declaring how "proud" he is of the women for all they've accomplished, noting, "I love them dearly and they’ve done so well."

"When Bob passed away, they came — and they were so kind," the TV hunk shared of their presence at the ceremony, which came as a surprise to fans since the fashionistas, 37, were the only ones who opted not to return for comedy's spinoff, Fuller House.

"You know, they were here and we were there. And we just weren’t so close over the years because of distance and they said all the things we wanted to hear. They said, 'We loved our childhood, we love you guys. Thank you for those beautiful eight years.' It was really something that the rest of us needed to hear. It was really nice."

Stamos also touched on his previous confession that he tried to get the Olsens fired when they were infants.

"The truth is it was like for an hour," he quipped of his frustration at the time. "They were crying through every scene ... and I said, 'Get me some other kids.' And they brought these other two kids that were semi-attractive at best. And I was like, 'Get the Olsens back, quick!'"

In a previous interview, the soap opera alum confessed he almost quit the show since when he first signed on, he was told the child stars wouldn't have much screen time.

"And as we’re casting it, I was like, ‘They’re spending a lot of time casting these kids that are going to be in the background,’" he recalled. "We did a table read of it, and I was the star. I was coming off of General Hospital, and all the mothers were like [gestures fawning over him]. And we sit down, and we start reading. And Jodie Sweetin, who plays Stephanie, reads her lines, and people are dying laughing. I mean screaming. I was like, 'What’s happening here?'"

"And I’m like slinking in my seat ... and I run out to — I’ll never forget — I run out to the lobby [at] the Century Plaza hotel, and I’m digging in my pocket for quarters. I jam a quarter in, like ‘Get me the f--- of this show’ to my agents," Stamos admitted.

"I fought it for a long time, and then I finally said, ‘What am I doing?’ It’s a beautiful show. We built with sweetness and kindness," he added. "There was no central character on that show is what I realized. The central character was love. We were the best representation of a loving family, not a normal family."
