We've got chills and they're multiplying after seeing John Travolta's stunning Maine getaway. The Grease actor put his longtime family home on the market — with the help of Brian Wickenden from Legacy Properties Sotheby's International Realty — for $5,000,000.
At the time of their extreme home makeover, Preston was pregnant with their first child, Jett — who tragically died at 16 of a seizure in 2009. The actors transformed the entire third floor into a “magical children’s space,” which included a princess room, an airplane room, a Peter Pan room, a schoolhouse, a library, a diner and a performing stage, Architectural Digest reported.
“It was madness — but so much fun,” Preston told the outlet in 1999, after they successfully transformed their “spooky,” “dark” and “somber” historic house into the ultimate holiday home for their 55-person family.
