Jonathan Scott and Zooey Dechanel appear to be living on cloud nine ever since they first met in 2019, with fans and family now eagerly waiting for the Property Brothers star to pop the question.
The New Girl actress and Jonathan first met while filming "Carpool Karaoke," a comical singing segment from The Late Show with James Corden. At the time, sisters Zooey and Bones actress Emily Deschanel were pitted against the Scott brothers, Jonathan and Drew.
From there, the loved up couple instantly hit it off, with the duo making their relationship Instagram official later that year. Before going public, Jonathan and Zooey were spotted holding hands around the time that she and estranged husband Jacob Pechenik confirmed their split.
However, the former flames — who share children Charlie and Elsie — had reportedly been separated for months prior to their announcement.
Jonathan and Zooey tend to keep their relationship on the down low; however, they don't shy away from flaunting their love on their respective Instagram pages, with them often gushing over one another and offering a glimpse into their romance.
So when will they make things official? That's a question everyone wants to know the answer to — especially twin brother Drew. However, Jonathan previously made it clear while appearing on SiriusXM’s Covino and Rich that he'd ask his girlfriend to marry him before telling a reporter about the possibility of proposing. "My personal life is my personal life and I don't talk about it," Jonathan stated.
Meanwhile, OK! exclusively learned that Drew is worried everything could go up in flames for his brother if he doesn't get down on one knee soon. "Drew’s worried he could end up losing [Zooey], especially now that she’s surrounded by a ton of eligible bachelors [as host of The Celebrity Dating Game]."
While Zooey is the co-host of the ABC dating show — which premiered last month — she previously made it clear that she had no interest in the potential suitors on the show. "I’m just very private and, of course, I’m taken," she previously said, per USA Today, of why she shouldn’t take part in the show. "I have the best boyfriend in the world."
Jonathan may be hesitant to tie the knot after his 2007 marriage to Kelsy Ully crashed and burned just two years after they wed. Nevertheless, Jonathan has made his love for Zooey quite apparent on social media.

Last February, Jonathan shared a selfie of the couple and their siblings from when they filmed their "Carpool Karaoke" segment in the summer of 2019. While promoting their The Late Show appearance, the handsome hunk admitted that that day was "one of the most fun days I’ve ever had! 😉," via his caption.
After the duo was spotted out for their first public date — they both posted the same picture of Zooey in Jonathan's arms at the Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios — they finally confirmed their relationship in November 2019 with a selfie. "Simply a perfect date night," the TV personality wrote alongside the black-and-white photo. "Such a wonderful time ❤️ 😊."

Last February, the good looking couple took on the red carpet at the Los Angeles Premiere of EMMA.
Jonathan offered a glimpse into their lives at home amid the pandemic. Alongside three photos of the two playing a game, Jonathan jokingly told his followers: "Don’t let our smiles fool you, we both play to win!" He also shared that they have been keeping themselves busy by "playing games, making music, and of course doing puzzles."
The brunette babe gushed over her boyfriend on their one year anniversary, sharing that she met "this kind, caring, hilarious, generous, creative, nerdy, handsome and all around incredible human," one year ago. "I am so grateful for every smile, kiss, hug, snuggle, laugh, scrabble game, escape room, breakfast, lunch and dinner we share together," she touchingly captioned her August post. "Even during the weirdest year for humanity I want a million billion more with you. 🥰."
Zooey celebrated a Burns supper, which is a celebration of the life and poetry of Robert Burns, with Jonathan's brother and family amid the pandemic. While they couldn't get together face-to-face, they held a Zoom dinner all together. "So nice to spend time with my sweet handsome gentleman @jonathanscott and wonderful family! ❤️❤️❤️," the Elf star captioned her post.
Apart from doing puzzles and making up songs, the couple appears to be adventurous, as Zooey quipped: "Had a great hike this weekend with my hat. @jonathanscott was there too."
Jonathan also shared one of the couple's adventures after they spent a weekend exploring San Francisco, Calif., while praising his girlfriend for being his partner in crime. "From steep romantic strolls and yummy food to an excessive amount of escape rooms (3 for 3). Safe to say…it was awesome. We make a great team @zooeydeschanel 🥰," he wrote.
The lovebirds took the next step in their relationship and announced they bought their 'dream home' together. The Property Brothers star shared in the January 2022 issue of Reveal that the happy couple bought a house in Los Angeles last summer and plan to make it their future family home. The pair have been renovating the house for months before they move in with Deschanel's two children, Charlie, 4, and Elsie, 5 — who she shares with her ex-husband, Jacob Pechenik. "We have each other, and we have time — the rest of our lives together in this house. Our house. Our dream home, where we'll see the kids grow up laughing and adventuring in the yard, where we'll play host to friends and family," he spilled.
