Justin Timberlake 'Completely Unaware' That Former Manager Asked Janet Jackson To Forgive Him
While Justin Timberlake apologized to Janet Jackson, the saga may not be over after his former manager reportedly urged the 54-year-old to forgive Timberlake.
Sources close to the "Cry Me A River" singer said that he was "completely unaware" of a comment Johnny Wright made to Jackson under a social media post about forgiveness.
"Justin was not aware of his comment to her. Johnny did this all on his own," a source explained after Jackson posted her weekly inspirational message to her followers where she encouraged them to "always choose to heal, not hurt" and "to forgive, not to despise."
"You should take this advice and to apply it to your relationship with Justin," Wright allegedly shot back, according to a screenshot.
This comes after Timberlake apologized to Jackson and ex-girlfriend Britney Spears "for the times in my life where my actions contributed to the problem, where I spoke out of turn, or did not speak up for what was right. I understand that I fell short in these moments and in many others and benefited from a system that condones misogyny and racism."
Jackson’s career seemed to suffer after the pair played the Super Bowl half-time show in 2004 where he ripped off a part of her top, which was dubbed as as "wardrobe malfunction." Timberlake's apology came after he was criticized online following the Framing Britney Spears documentary, which sparked a larger discussion about how young women were treated in show business.

"It took Justin TimberFAKE 17yrs to issue a semi heartfelt PUBLIC apology to Janet Jackson (even though it was lumped in with an apology to Britney Spears and undoubtedly drafted by his publicist); yet, his manager is demanding that Janet accept Justin's apology," a fan said on Twitter.
"Is it just me but I don’t see this coming from JT himself??! Do we think he knows? I don’t even know what to think anymore," another asked.
"But janet jackson got cancelled because of justin though ... how can she forgive him for that and the manager should just shut up cos people are still gonna give justin the side eye if she is willing to forgive him," a third fan said.
Neither Jackson nor Spears have publicly acknowledged Timberlake’s apology.
"Britney does not hold a grudge against Justin over anything he’s said or done," a source previously told Us Weekly. "She feels that they were young and in love and both did stupid things when they were together. She was heartbroken when they separated, but it’s not something she dwells on now. She’s happy and happy for him."
Page Six was the first to report that Timberlake was unaware of Wright’s comment.
