White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt couldn't stop gushing over Donald Trump at a recent Turning Point USA event despite the president shading her just a few days prior.
While being interviewed by Erika Kirk at George Washington University on Thursday, April 2, Leavitt raved over her role and thanked the POTUS for making it easy while also taking a dig at Joe Biden and his administration.
Karoline Leavitt Shades Previous Administration

Karoline Leavitt raved over working for Donald Trump.
"He just lays it on the table. There’s no guessing. There’s no questioning. There’s no spin," she explained of Trump. "It just is what it is with him."
"So, as his spokeswoman, I’m very grateful for that because I saw my predecessor in this role have a bit of a hard time, I think, and I think it’s because she wasn’t able to communicate with her boss in a very open and transparent way," she added, throwing shade at Biden and former press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre.

Karine Jean-Pierre was often criticized as Joe Biden's press secretary.
Jean-Pierre, who took over for Jen Psaki, served in her role from 2022 to Biden's last day in office.

Karoline Leavitt gushed over Donald Trump's honesty and accessibility.
"The president’s accessibility and transparency — not just to me and the rest of the West Wing staff — but to you, the American people, and the news media, is so refreshing," Leavitt continued to rave of Trump. "Everything he says is exactly how he feels. There’s no guessing, and he’s honest and authentic about what he believes, and it makes my job much easier."
"That’s one of the things I love most about the job," the pregnant mom-of-one added.
Karoline Leavitt was made fun of for calling the president 'the most well-read person in the room.'
At another point in the chat, Leavitt complimented the POTUS once again by expressing, "You always want to be the most well-read person in the room, and I try to be every day. But Donald Trump always is."
She was heavily mocked online for the comment, with one person writing, "This is some Twilight Zone-level s---," while another penned, "Why didn’t the audience laugh at this?"
Donald Trump Questions Karoline Leavitt's Capabilities

Donald Trump recently wondered if Karoline Leavitt was 'doing a poor job.'
Leavitt's praise came after Trump surprisingly took aim at her during an Oval Office appearance on Friday, March 31.
"I got 93 percent bad publicity, some people say 97, but between 93 and 97. A person that gets 97 percent of bad … maybe Karoline's doing a poor job, I don't know," he said, referring to the 2024 presidential election.
"Shall we keep her? I think we'll keep her," he joked.
