In December of that year, Clarkson filed legal documents with the California Labor Commission in October, alleging that her estranged husband — who acted as her manager for years, and also works with Blake Shelton — and his father Narvel’s Starstruck Management company defrauded her by charging her outlandish fees during her 13 years with the team.

The former flames’ legal battle is far from over: Clarkson and Blackstock still have to determine their property and cash — which will include arguments over their prenuptial agreement.

Meanwhile, Blackstock has decided to give up his career as a talent manager to pursue work as a rancher that will sponsor rodeos. Clarkson wanted to sell the couple's Montana Ranch — but the judge denied the request and ordered Brandon to start covering the costs of the property which in total reportedly comes to $81,000 per month.
