On Thursday, May 12, Kelly Osbourne and boyfriend Sid Wilson announced they were expecting their first child together by posting a sonogram on their Instagram pages. The exciting news came as a shock to some fans, as the two have only been dating since January, but the parents-to-be have actually known each other for over two decades!
According to reports, the two first met back in 1999, as Wilson's metal band Slipknot was touring with the 37-year-old Fashion Police alum's rockstar dad, Ozzy Osbourne.
Wilson, 45, acts as a DJ for the iconic group, though he also plays the piano and keyboard. And if he doesn't look familiar, it's because just like the rest of this bandmates, the Iowa-born star usually wears a mask on stage. He also goes by DJ Starscream when performing solo.
Though Wilson and his leading lady keep a relatively low profile, they aren't afraid to express their love for one another, as evidenced by their Valentine's Day posts.
"After 23 years of friendship I can't believe where we have ended up!" she wrote alongside a photo of them locking lips. "You are my best friend, my soulmate and I am so deeply in love with you Sidney George Wilson."
He responded by writing, "There is not enough colours to display the palette of Love I have for you in my Heart 💜 Happy Valentines Day my Love XoXo."
When the musician shared their baby news, he left his Instagram caption simple, just posting a few emojis, but the MTV alum was much more expressive.
"I know that I have been very quiet these past few months so I thought I would share with you all as to why… I am over the moon to announce that I am going to be a Mumma," she gushed, tagging Wilson in the photo. "To say that I am happy does not quite cut it. I am ecstatic!"
