Kim Kardashian Officially Declared A Single Woman In Divorce Bid Against Kanye West: Report
Kim Kardashian has officially been made single by the court.
A judge granted the reality star's request to end her marriage to Kanye West despite his continuous efforts to object the motion. The makeup mogul will now legally be known as Kim Kardashian — without the West.
According to TMZ, the SKIMs founder, 41, was on a video call for the Wednesday, March 2, court hearing, and the "Jesus Walks" rapper, 44, was absent.
Nevertheless, West's lawyer did not object to restoring Kardashian's single status, although his lawyer said he had 3 conditions — the first being that any right to get reimbursement of money that's supposed to be divided up will be preserved in case either of them dies. The judge signed off on Ye's first condition.
However, the judge did not grant all of Ye's requests. The second condition, which the judge tossed out, was that the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star would not transfer any assets she had in trust.
The other condition that was shot down was that if Kardashian remarried, she would waive the "marital privilege," which means a new spouse would not have to testify about communications he had with her.

Despite the Grammy Award winning musician's efforts to block their divorce, an insider spilled that the newly single rapper also wanted their union to come to a legal end.
As OK! previously reported, the reality star — who shares children North, 8, Saint, 6, Chicago, 4, and Psalm, 2 with West — has been begging the judge to restore her single status since December, nearly one year after she first filed for divorce from the father of her children.
"I believe that the Court terminating our marital status will help Kanye to accept that our marital relationship is over and to move forward on a better path which will assist us in peacefully co-parenting our children," Kardashian stated in legal documents, adding that "there is no way to repair our marriage."
