Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson enjoyed an after-Christmas lunch date following claims the comedian didn't spend the holidays with his new lady.
The Saturday Night Live star was reportedly invited to the Kardashians' annual Christmas Eve bash, but it's not clear whether he was in attendance.
The KKW beauty founder was apparently planning to introduce the new man on her arm to her children after she and Davidson first linked up in October. OK! reported Kardashian was concerned over how estranged husband Kanye West would handle the interaction, given that he made his most recent public plea for Kardashian back not too long ago.
An insider told The Sun the Kardashians decided to scale back their Christmas Eve celebration due to the coronavirus pandemic. The source noted Davidson may have "dropped by the party casually," but he is not said to have met the SKIMS founder's children as previously planned.
"Kim is not going to rush into anything and wants to protect her kids, she doesn't want to introduce a new boyfriend in her home and make things difficult during the divorce," an insider told the publication. "He has respectfully kept his distance and Kim really doesn't want him and Kanye to clash, there is no way she would want them in the same room, and Pete knows how much the family love him."
The insider alleged the coparents are not on the best terms at the moment but are putting their differences aside to enjoy the holiday season with their four children. A second source also insisted Davidson did not meet Kardashian's children, it was reported.

Fans suspected the 28-year-old's mother, Amy Davidson, was at the bash after spotting a woman who resembled her. However, the lookalike turned out to be the Kar-Jenner's party planner, Mindy Weiss, Us Weekly reported.
The day after Christmas, the pair dined at the Beverly Hills Hotel at the Polo Lounge, according to HollywoodLife.
According to the insider, the reality star was not wearing make up and looked cosy in a black sweatshirt and gray top during the Sunday, December 26, outing. The King Of Staten Island star donned a gray beanie and black hoodie. He is said to have had his arm around the 41-year-old as they dined together.
Davidson has reportedly been on the West Coast since December 21 after the unlikely couple spent time together in Staten Island earlier this month.
