Kourtney Kardashian Slams Jimmy Kimmel's 'Fake Married' Claims
Kourtney Kardashian set the record straight on her marriage to Travis Barker.
The Poosh founder, 42, opened up about her and the Blink-182 drummer's surprise Las Vegas nuptials during a joint interview with Kris Jenner, Kim Kardashian, Khloé Kardashian and Kendall Jenner on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Wednesday, April 6, where she slammed the host's claim of the two not officially being man and wife without a marriage license.
"I think you're the Kardashian of the week this week because you went ahead and got fake married. But we didn't know it was fake married," Kimmel said while the famous family appeared on his show to promote their upcoming Hulu series, The Kardashians, which is set to be released August 14.
SCOTT DISICK SPOTTED IN PUBLIC FOR THE FIRST TIME SINCE KOURTNEY KARDASHIAN WED TRAVIS BARKER
Kardashian quickly shot back, saying: "Well, it's not called fake married," to which the Emmy-winning funnyman replied: "It is called that."
"There was no, like, possibility to get a marriage license at that hour," the mother-of-three — who shares kiddos Mason, 12, Penelope, 9, and Reign, 7, with ex Scott Disick — clarified, pointing out she and the musician tried their best to get a license, but it was in the early morning hours on Monday, April 4, and nothing was open.
"We asked like five times, what do we have to do to make this happen. It was 2 am and they were like, 'It opens at 8 o'clock,'" the brunette babe recounted, insisting she and Barker, 46, wanted to get married for real, but "We just did it anyway, it's what's in the heart."

OK! reported the PDA couple said their "I Do's" at the One Love Wedding Chapel in Las Vegas, where they were officiated by an Elvis impersonator. Their last-minute nuptials came hours after the drummer took the stage at the 64th Grammy Awards, which took place at the MGM Grand Garden Arena on Sunday, April 3.
Shortly after news of their Sin City wedding made headlines, Kardashian teased that the lovebirds got married for "practice," sharing love-up photos of their ceremony.
"Once upon a time in a land far, far away (Las Vegas) at 2am, after an epic night and a little tequila, a queen and her handsome king ventured out to the only open chapel with an Elvis and got married (with no license)," the reality star captioned the post, which garnered over 4 million likes. "Practice makes perfect."
While OK! reported the pair was joined by a photographer who seemingly documented their special moment, the celebration of their union is far from over, as Kardashian and Barker are planning several more ceremonies.
