Kristin Cavallari is clearing up some rumors.
On Wednesday, July 21, the TV personality took to her Instagram story to set the record straight regarding rumors of the former Very Cavallari star being involved in a “love triangle.”
The 34-year-old explained in the video — captioned “Let’s clear up some gossip bullsh*t” — the truth behind her dating situation.
“There’s a little something that I feel like I should clear up. I do not feel like I owe anybody an explanation, normally I don’t comment on this stuff," the reality star began. "However, these rumors have been going on for about a year now.”
The entrepreneur explained that the “love triangle” rumors are “not true.” She captioned the second video, “My one and only love triangle was documented in high school,” alluding to the Laguna Beach season that covered her complicated relationships with Stephen Colletti and Lauren Conrad.
Cavallari was seen hanging out with Southern Charm’s Craig Conover and Austen Kroll on multiple occasions over the past year. She didn’t specifically mention either name in the video, but she did address the “love triangle” rumor.

“These two guys who I’ve been linked to for the past year are my friends,” she said in the video. “That’s it.”
“I’ve never dated either of them. I can guarantee that I’m not going to date either one of them,” Cavallari said. “It’s possible for a grown woman to be friends with a grown man, and for that to be it.”
The Uncommon James founder also used the opportunity to set things straight about her current love life.
“I’m not dating anyone, I can assure you of that,” she said in the next video with the caption, “I’m single and loving it.”
“I’ve actually really enjoyed being single for the last few months,” Cavallari continued. “So just keep that in mind that all the stuff you’re reading is not always true. Maybe there’s a little seed of truth, but all the details are messy.”
Cavallari is doing her own thing after splitting from her husband of seven years, Jay Cutler, in April 2020. The former couple share three children: Camden Jack, 8, Jaxon Wyatt, 7, and Saylor James, 5.
