Driver is playing Italian fashion maven Maurizio Gucci, while Gaga is set to portray Gucci’s ex-wife, Patrizia Reggiani, who was tried and convicted of orchestrating his assassination in 1995.
Reggiani, dubbed Italy’s “Black Widow,” eventually served 18 years in prison for her role in her estranged ex's death before being released in 2016. Gucci and Reggiani had two children together, before he left her for another woman.

The movie, based on the book The House of Gucci: A Sensational Story of Murder, Madness, Glamour, and Greed, will focus on Gucci’s murder. Alongside Driver and Gaga, Jeremy Irons will play Rodolfo Gucci, Maurizio’s father, while Jared Leto and Al Pacino are also on board to star in the film.
Although not much about the plot has been revealed in the photos, it appears Scott is staying true to style for the couple in extravagant costumes for the upcoming murder biopic. The recent snaps appear to depict happier times between the former flames, before Reggiani plots to kill her ex over fears she wouldn’t be entitled to a fair divorce settlement.
