Lisa Vanderpump Claims Kyle Richards Spread Gossip About Erika Jayne & Tom Girardi's Financial Woes At Andy Cohen's Baby Shower, Says 'That's How Kyle Works'
After Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum Camille Grammer revealed that she heard about money troubles plaguing Erika Jayne and Tom Girardi from a fellow Housewife years before it became public, it emerged that Kyle Richards is reportedly the one who started the rumors.
Lisa Vanderpump told the Daily Mail that Richards spread rumors about the singer's financial troubles at Andy Cohen’s baby shower in 2019.
"It could be the person that [my husband] Ken [Todd] kicked out of my house," the 61-year-old said when the Mail guessed that Richards was behind the gossip. The incident the restaurateur is referring to is her spat with Richards during the ninth season of RHOBH.
The Vanderpump Rules star was said to be reluctant to name Richards as the Housewife behind the rumors, the Mail noted.
"It didn't surprise me when Camille told me that it was Kyle that had told her the gossip about her supposed friend Erika Jayne," Vanderpump told the publication. "That's how Kyle works."
"Erika Jayne was never nice to me, you know, even prior to this whole thing," Vanderpump spilled. "I thought it was kind of obnoxious the way she behaved with money, even when I thought it was her own. You know what? I had doubts."

Vanderpump's comments come after Bethenny Frankel discussed Jayne and Girardi's drama on the September 16 episode of her "Just B With Bethenny Frankel" podcast. "My experience is, especially with the Housewives … if someone’s flaunting their money, they don’t really have it," the Skinnygirl founder said.
Frankel alleged that her late ex-boyfriend Dennis Shields told her that the attorney owed him almost $500,000. Shields allegedly told her that the 82-year-old "doesn’t have money. He owes everybody money."
Frankel said that Girardi's financial woes was the "worst-kept secret" and that she "knew about this since 2017" despite the news breaking in 2020.
In November, Jayne announced that she and Girardi had spilt and she filed for divorce.
However, the divorce was quickly overshadowed when the estranged couple was named in a lawsuit alleging that they embezzled settlement money intended for the families of the victims of the Lion Air Flight 610 plane crash in 2018. They soon found themselves in more legal woes.
Girardi has since been diagnosed with late-onset Alzheimer's disease and dementia was placed in conservatorship. He is reportedly living in a senior care facility.
