Maralee Nichols Declares She Loves Her 'Mom Bod' After Welcoming Son With Tristan Thompson In December
Maralee Nichols seems to be doing well after welcoming her baby boy, Theo Thompson, in December.
As reported by OK!, Tristan Thompson confirmed he was her baby's father last month after the coparents hooked up in March — while he was believed to still be dating Khloé Kardashian.
The 31-year-old has since spoken to Us Weekly about her post-pregnancy figure. "I didn’t feel pressure to bounce back after birth, I wanted to give my body a break," she said. "I know that bouncing back can take time and it’s different for everyone."
"Being pregnant made me realize how amazing women’s bodies are, to be able to nourish and deliver a baby," she added. The fitness model admitted she does not think her body will ever look the exact same way it did before she was pregnant, but she's OK with that. "I love my mom bod," she declared to the outlet.
However, she revealed she does weigh the same as she did before she was pregnant. She told the publication her eating habits played a role in staying in shape.

"I started going to a nutritionist about seven years ago when I used to do fitness competitions and changed my eating habits," she reportedly explained. "A lot of people think that the less you eat the more weight you will lose but I actually eat about five times a day; breakfast, lunch, and dinner with a snack in between each."
The new mama added: "I also think staying active while pregnant and eating healthy throughout helped me bounce back quicker along with breastfeeding."
She said she continued to be active and eat well throughout her pregnancy. "I work out when I can and listen to my body, it’s all about balance," she shared with the publication. "If I am tired, I rest. I go to the gym when I can but I also have weights and a yoga mat at home so I can do workouts in my free time or when my son is napping."
Last month, the Sacramento Kings player issued a public apology to Kardashian after the test results confirmed he fathered his third child. (Thompson shares 3-year-old daughter True with the reality star and 4-year-old son Prince with ex Jordan Craig.) The womanizer announced at the time that he was looking forward to amicably raising his new son with Nichols — a claim Thompson apparently hasn't followed through on.
As reported by OK!, Nichols' rep alleged the 30-year-old has made no effort to meet his child nor provide any financial support.
