Melania Trump Called a 'Fool' After Recent Move Described as 'Totally Embarrassing'

Melania Trump is facing backlash after a recent social media post about Fostering the Future.

The First Lady of the United States attended an event for the initiative on August 21, where she was seen wearing a red skirt, matching heels and a blue button-down shirt with an upturned collar.

Many people thought she was focused more on drawing attention to herself rather than the issue at hand and fired back at her in the comments section.

“You look like a FOOL with that collar up in the air,” one X user wrote.

“Stop embarrassing yourself with the stupid looking upturned collar,” another person commented.

The FLOTUS posted a clip of herself on X attending the event aimed at providing educational resources, including scholarships and financial assistance for children growing up in the foster care system.

The initiative was originally launched in 2021 under Trump’s Be Best program.

“FOSTERING THE FUTURE // ALLIANCE. Every Fostering the Future partner plays a meaningful role in creating opportunity, and every scholarship changes a life. Universities, government leaders, private donors, and strategic partners open doors, remove barriers, and create pathways to success for Fostering the Future scholars,” she wrote in the caption.

Many people who were present at the event praised her for her work in the field, which could be seen in the footage. Others also took to X to share their thoughts on what they deemed to be the excellent work she's been doing to help children.

While some people shared positive remarks about the First Lady and also praised her husband, President Donald Trump, a huge portion of the commenters were critical of her.
