Rock star status! Miley Cyrus looked every inch a punk rock icon as she stepped out of a black van and into her New York City hotel this week. The pop star is in town as she gets ready for her gig as Saturday Night Live's musical guest this weekend along with controversial guest host Elon Musk.
As the "Party In The USA" singer exited her vehicle on Thursday, May 6, she was greeted by a crowd of her adoring fans who cannot get enough of the music and style icon.
Punk rock chic! The trend-setting star paired her "Let It Rock" t-shirt with a red plaid mini skirt, fishnets and sky-high heels.
Fans showered the star with love as she arrived at her hotel. Cyrus graciously stopped to take pictures and sign autographs as she made her way through the crowd of people.
The former Disney Channel actress has always had a special connection with her fans since her early days on Hannah Montana. The 28-year-old star has often said that she has felt as if she has gone through so much in front of her fanbase and she is glad that they have stuck by her all these years.

While on Spotify’s "Rock This with Allison Hagendorf" podcast, Cyrus said that while playing Hannah Montana, she experienced a bit of an identity crisis and was afraid that if she did not live up to the bubble-gum pop star persona that was created for her, the fans would not stick by her.
Clearly that is not the case as fans are willing to wait outside for hours for just a glimpse of the iconic superstar! Cyrus was again flanked by her fanbase on Friday, May 7.
Keep shining, Miley! The fashionable superstar switched up her look with a denim fringe jacket and a pair of multi-colored pants as she headed back out into the Big Apple.
