Instagram Model Mercedes Morr's Father Details Heartbreaking Moment He Found Daughter Dead, Alleged Killer Reportedly Scribbled 'I Was Used' On The Wall
A father’s worst nightmare.
Miss Mercedes Morr’s father, Mark Gagnier, is detailing the heartbreaking moment he found his beloved daughter dead and her suspected killer on the cusp of death when he entered her apartment.
The social media influencer was found strangled to death in her Texas apartment on Sunday, August 29.
Gagnier told Houston news KPRC that he hadn’t heard from Morr — real name Janae Gagnier — in a few days and became worried, so he went to her home to check on her.
“I know my daughter and when I got to my daughter's house and it was locked up and she's not answering my phone call, which is not like her, I knew something was up,” the grieving father said, adding: “So I didn't hesitate to kick the door down.”

Once inside he was greeted with a horrific sight. “What I saw, I wouldn't want any parent to go through,” he explained, saying at first he thought maybe she had had an accident and fell down the stairs.
“I walk in and Janae’s on the floor, and her clothes are all torn up and stuff,” Mark described. Yet when he went further inside, he found suspected killer Kevin Accorto, reeling from self-inflicted stab wounds.
“I go upstairs, guy upstairs with a knife in him, still alive,” he said, noting Accorto “was twitching” and “gurgling” as he laid there dying. “I just couldn’t do nothing but stand there and call the police.”
That’s when he discovered there was “writing all over the wall” in the house. He detailed that the alleged murderer had used pens and lipstick to write wild messages, The Sun reported.
“I was used for money,” one of the messages read, while another said: “sorry to the landlord and the community.” The messages continued: “I hurt a lot ok,” and “I wished I never loved her,” were among the confessions the father saw.
Following the news of her brutal slaying, her famous followers paid tribute to the model. Rapper Tory Lanez posted a photo of her to his Instagram Story with the caption "Rest in peace Queen."
Meanwhile, Cardi B spoke out calling her a “sweetheart” and slammed those who criticized the OnlyFans star's way of life. “So sad and f**k you bit*hes and Nikkas trying to justify it cause of her lifestyle,” she wrote via Instagram Story on Tuesday, August 31. “Ya will hate on a bad bit*h dead or alive.”
