'Modern Family' Star Eric Stonestreet & Lindsay Schweitzer Engaged After 5 Years Together
Eric Stonestreet and Lindsay Schweitzer are engaged.
The 49-year-old took to Instagram to share the good news with a series of photos. In the first picture, Schweitzer beamed at the camera while Stonestreet held up her hand to show off the ring. In the second snap, he looked at his fiancée lovingly before pointing at the rock in the last photo.
"She said, 'She’d have her people call my people,'" he captioned the post.
Fans and friends took to the comments to offer their congratulations to the happy couple.

The Secret Life of Pets star and the pediatric nurse reportedly met at a Big Slick charity event in Kansas City in 2016 and have been going strong ever since, according to PEOPLE. "They are very happy to have met each other," an insider previously told the publication. "They're enjoying spending time together."
Since getting together, the Modern Family star regularly gushes about his girlfriend on social media. "What a great picture to capture all of her beauty," he captioned a photo of the duo together last month. "Look how cute he I mean she is. 😍🥰," he captioned a photo of Schweitzer and his dog in May.
Not too long after they got together, the Emmy Award winner appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show in 2017 where he said that his girlfriend calms him down because he's a very "high-strung" person.
"Your girlfriend is lovely — I met her backstage," DeGeneres said at the time. "She's a nurse. That's a good thing for you, because you're a hypochondriac."
