Nicole Kidman Sends Fans Into a Frenzy With 'Stunning' TikTok Debut in High-Slit Dress: Watch

Nicole Kidman is giving fans a little taste of her magical new era!

On Thursday, August 27, the actress made her TikTok debut in a stunning clip showing off a jaw-dropping mint green mermaid gown. The custom Matthieu Blazy creation featured a thigh-high slit, a sweetheart neckline and oversized sequins, while delicate chains with pearl details added an extra glamorous touch.

Kidman completed the look with gold sandals and understated jewelry as she stepped out for the London premiere of Practical Magic 2.

Set to “Ain’t In LA” by Adéla, the video showed Kidman leaning against a piano set while showing off her glamorous ensemble.

She wore her straight blonde hair loose, allowing it to fall naturally down her back as she posed for the camera.

“Magic brought me here ✨ #PracticalMagic2@practicalmagicmovie,” she wrote in the caption.

The clip also featured moments from the big premiere. Kidman greeted fans, signed autographs and posed for photos with her castmates, including Sandra Bullock, Joey King and Maisie Williams, before heading inside for the screening.

Fans quickly took to the comments section to praise the actress, with many calling her look “stunning” and celebrating her long-awaited return as Gillian Owens.

“I came to this place (TikTok) for magic,” one wrote.

Another added, “mother has arrived!!!”

“We'd follow your magic anywhere! 🤩,” a third gushed.

The sequel was first announced in 2025, with Bullock and Kidman sharing their excitement about returning to the fictional Massachusetts town nearly 30 years after the original movie.

The actresses have remained enthusiastic about reprising their beloved roles despite some criticism surrounding the sequel.

"We're so excited. Yes, yes, beyond excited," Kidman said at the time. "You heard our spell. We put out our spell already."

Now, Bullock and Kidman are officially back as sisters Sally and Gillian Owens in Practical Magic 2. The first trailer for the sequel dropped on June 25, giving fans their first major look at what's ahead.

In the original movie, Bullock played Sally, the more grounded and compassionate Owens sister, while Kidman portrayed Gillian, the adventurous sibling. Together, the sisters dealt with their family's curse, their magical abilities and the powerful bond that kept them connected.

While reflecting on Gillian's bold personality, Bullock admitted she has always admired the character's confidence and willingness to live life on her own terms.

“Gillian is really brave. I always wish I could be more like that in life. She knows what she is. She embraces what she is, and she fully leans into it,” Bullock shared in a clip obtained by People.

Bullock also explained why she believes Kidman was the perfect person to bring Gillian back to life.

“She’s playing a character, but you are seeing a lot of who Nicole really is,” Bullock said of Gillian. “She’s free and wild and adventurous and is always doing something amazing."

The sequel's trailer begins with a reminder that “no magic is stronger than sisterhood” before introducing Sally's daughters, Kylie and Antonia, played by King and Williams. The preview also hinted at a major problem for Kylie after she falls in love despite the Owens family's infamous curse, which has historically brought tragedy to the men they love.

“We’re Owens women. Love is our undoing,” said Kidman’s Gillian.
