Olivia Munn Gushes She's 'Excited' To Bring 'A Little Person Into This World' As John Mulaney Split Rumors Continue To Mount
Olivia Munn is looking forward to becoming a mama.
The 41-year-old — who is expecting her first child with John Mulaney, 39 — is eager to experience motherhood.
During an interview with Entertainment Tonight’s Matt Cohen, the Newsroom actress opened up about her feelings on expecting a little bundle of joy.
While talking about her upcoming film Violet, the actress recalled a conversation with director Justine Bateman, where they talked about all things motherhood.
“Justine and I had a long conversation about this the other day, honestly, I’m just excited about meeting whoever it is,” she said. “And bringing a little person into this world.”
Another source recently told Us Weekly that Munn is more concerned with becoming a mom than anything else — including her relationship with Mulaney.
"Becoming a mom was always more important to her than settling down in a conventional way," the source said, explaining that being a wife isn't her only goal in life.
"She's a real feminist and doesn't need a man by her side 24/7," the source added. "She never has."
Munn excitement over her pregnancy comes in the wake of circulating rumors that she and Mulaney may have called things off.
The Saturday Night Live alum announced that the pair were having a baby together in September, just months after their whirlwind romance took off — and now people are wondering if they moved things along too quickly.

As OK! previously reported, a source revealed that Munn’s close friends were concerned about the future of her relationship with Mulaney, which apparently was “imperfect” from “the start.”
“Even though Olivia’s going to be a wonderful mother and has great support behind her, Olivia’s friends just don’t see these two being a couple in a year’s time,” the source revealed.
While the source predicted that Munn and Mulaney will “make great parents,” they added that “nobody knows yet if they’re going to do that together or apart.”
“Olivia and John still have to decide what kind of future they’re going to have together, if any,” they continued. “It’s a time of uncertainty, for both of them.”
The parents-to-be have been the subject of media attention since they first started seeing each other on the heels of Mulaney’s split from wife Anna Marie Tendler.
Some speculated that the stand-up comedian was cheating on his estranged wife with Munn, especially after his timeline of events leading up to Munn’s pregnancy didn’t seem to add up.
Mulaney also raised eyebrows after a previous 2019 interview, where the comic claimed he didn’t want kids, resurfaced.
A source previously told OK! that Mulaney — who has been in-and-out of rehab for drug abuse — is in a “different headspace,” since his previous comments about starting a family, and that he “can’t imagine his life” with Munn “any other way.”
