Pete Davidson is all smiles!
The 27-year-old comedian is shaking off his heartache and throwing himself right back into work after splitting from Bridgerton star Phoebe Dynevor earlier this month.
OK! learned distance became too much for the former flames as the actor lives in New York, while Dynevor is based in England.
Despite their friends saying the two “make a great couple,” an insider pointed out “the distance has made it completely unworkable” and “put a strain on them,” causing them to ultimately pull the plug after five months. Nevertheless, “They had fun and will remain close,” the source added.
Davidson has kept himself busy by filming the upcoming rom-com, Meet Cute, with The Big Bang Theory alum Kaley Cuoco.
The costars appear to be having a blast behind-the-scenes, as the 35-year-old TV star recently shared clips of her pestering the Saturday Night Live star as he rehearsed his lines. “Annoying Peter while he's studying has become my favorite pastime," Cuoco said, revealing she calls Davidson by his full first name.
In the video, shared to Cuoco's Instagram Story on Thursday, August 5, the 27-year-old sported a striped shirt as he held up his script to the camera. “I’m trying to learn my lines,” he expressed deadpanned to the camera. However, the blonde bombshell, who is married to equestrian Karl Cook, wasn't fazed by Davidson's attempt to focus, as she burst into singing Whitney Houston's “Higher Love.”
Meet Cute, reportedly revolves around deconstructing the rom-com norm by asking the question: “What would you do if you could travel to your loved ones' past, heal their traumas, fix their problems, and change them into the perfect partner?”
