Ever since Bridgerton became a monster hit, the sizzling chemistry between Regé-Jean Page and costar Phoebe Dynevor, 25, has fans convinced that they’re an offscreen item as well.
But the heartthrob's girlfriend, Emily Brown, is fed up with keeping their real-life romance under wraps. "She's starting to feel like Regé's dirty little secret," a pal says of Emily, who has been dating the swoon-worthy actor, 31, for two years and shares a home with him in East London.
“But the show’s producers have been happy to let the rumors about Regé and Phoebe fly because it made their steamy sex scenes that much more believable.”
Brown, 30, a part-time soccer player and copywriter from Manchester, “loves to go to pubs and party, which she and Regé used to do before the show came out,” explains the friend.

Dynevor previously shut down rumors that there was more between her and Page and that their love affair was strictly for the camera.
“I’d love to say there was really something between us, but no, it has always been strictly professional,” the actress told You magazine last month. “There was so much pressure on us to get it right that it was all about the work. We have a really professional working relationship.
"I'm glad for that, actually. It would be very complicated if it went further. I always hear about people falling in love with their costars. It's yet to happen to me, but I'm intrigued," she continued.
However, she did add that she does understand why people might speculate there's something brewing.
"People really root for us. We have to say we’re actors, we’re doing a job, there is something to be said for not spoiling the magic… but at a certain point you have to say 'no,'" she told the magazine.
