'He Would Find Time Easily': Prince Harry's Team Reached Out to Schedule King Charles Follow-Up Visit 'Over a Month' Ago
Although King Charles III has a "full program" of duties scheduled, and cannot see Prince Harry, the California Duke reportedly asked His Majesty for the second visit "over a month" in advance.
"If the King wanted to see Harry, he would find time very easily," royal historian Hugo Vickers dished. "You can never be too busy to see your son."
"It, unfortunately, will not be possible due to His Majesty's full program," a spokesperson for the Duke of Sussex shared. "The Duke of course is understanding of his father's diary of commitments and various other priorities and hopes to see him soon."
"The King has left the door wide open, but obviously not that wide," a royal source spilled about the situation. "But they absolutely can stuff things in his diary and juggle things around."
The monarch met with his youngest son on February 6, the day after he told the world he was battling cancer. "We don’t know how that meeting went, but I do know that the King was exhausted and really keen to get off to Balmoral," another royal insider privy to that meeting spilled. "He was desperate to be on his way and was delayed until Harry turned up."
The royal rebel is in London to serve as the official guest of honor for the 10th anniversary of the Invictus Games at St Paul's Cathedral. The Duke developed the games in 2014 as a way for wounded/disabled service personnel to compete with one another in their very own sporting competitions. In what one royal analyst calls a "sad but honest" outcome, Harry reportedly sent invitations to multiple senior royals to attend the service — not a single one answered.
This led one source to state: "William is a hop, skip and a jump from the throne, with an ill wife and three young children — he has plenty on his plate," when asked why the future king did not attend. His Royal Highness also has engagements in both Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly this week in which he is said to be "preparing for."

"William hates the fact that Harry has washed so much royal dirty linen in public; he doesn’t want to be seen as the one who is unforgiving," royal author Tom Quinn dished. "William knows that the world will be watching when his little brother rolls into town, and as a king in waiting, he knows people expect him to be mature and magnanimous."
However, numerous analysts feel that a physical reunion between the royal siblings is "inevitable." According to a royal insider, "Be it while his father still reigns or the huge moment when the King dies and William accedes to the throne, the meeting between Harry and William will occur eventually."
