Priscilla Presley opened up about the emotional impact of her daughter Lisa Marie Presley's death during a recent speaking event at the Westgate in Las Vegas.
The 80-year-old actress shared that her granddaughters have become more independent, contributing to a sense of separation within the family.
“It’s kind of separated us in a way,” Priscilla stated at the May 2 event, reminiscing about the days when the family would gather for meals.
Lisa Marie’s Death Changed Family Dynamics
Priscilla Presley opened up about the growing distance between family members after Lisa Marie Presley’s passing.
Since Lisa Marie’s passing in January 2023, family dynamics have shifted significantly, as her youngest daughters, 17-year-old twins Harper and Finley Lockwood, pursue their own lives, including new romantic relationships.
Lisa Marie, who had four children, faced her own tragedies throughout her life. She lost her son, Benjamin Keough, to suicide in 2020 at the age of 27.
This loss, according to Priscilla’s son Navarone Garibaldi, marked the beginning of the family's emotional distance. He stated, “I think actually losing Ben was the first thing that separated us.”
