Production On The Next Season Of 'The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills' Will Begin Early To Keep Up With Erika Jayne Drama: Sources
We could be getting a new season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills sooner than we think!
RHOBH production sources told TMZ that the producers cannot get enough of Erika Jayne and Tom Girardi's legal and financial issues, and that the show could skip the usual break between seasons. According to the insiders, the reality show is gearing up to begin production on season 12 for a quick turnaround.
The publication reported that shooting will begin as soon as next week for some of the cast as producers think that the singer's storyline is too good to miss out on.
Jayne and Girardi's split and legal battles played a huge role in season 11 of RHOBH.
Castmate Crystal Kung Minkoff recently told the Los Angeles Times that when the outlet published an article called "The legal titan and the 'Real Housewife': The rise and fall of Tom Girardi and Erika Jayne" in December, she thought "'this season is going to be about: this woman’s husband goes to prison.'"
"Production told us about it [the article]. We didn’t know about it because we were still at the hotel, and they were at the house. So production’s like, 'I need you guys to open your text,'" Minkoff said.

Garcelle Beauvais told the publication they didn't think about stopping production after the article came out. "We can’t. That’s out of our hands," she said.
In a teaser for the upcoming RHOBH reunion special, Andy Cohen warned the Pretty Mess author that "we're gonna put you on a skewer, and I’m gonna fire up the barbecue."
He asked Jayne why she didn't leave her husband sooner. "Where was I going?" she replied. "I know what you make on this show. Did you feel you were held captive?" Cohen seemingly retorted.
As OK! previously reported, Jayne announced that she and the attorney had called it quits in November. News of the divorce was quickly overshadowed by several lawsuits.
In December, the estranged couple was named in a lawsuit alleging that they embezzled settlement money intended for the families of the victims of the 2018 Lion Air Flight 610 plane crash.
The reality star was also named in the 82-year-old's bankruptcy case. She has maintained that she was not aware of Girardi's alleged embezzlement scam.
The reunion will premiere on Wednesday, October 13, at 8 p.m. ET on Bravo.
