Sandra Bullock is remembering Dolly Parton with a touching story about the time the two stars slept side-by-side on a tour bus.
Bullock, 62, opened up about her late friend while attending the Practical Magic 2 premiere in London on Wednesday, August 26, just a day after Parton died at age 80 following a brief battle with cancer.
Sandra Bullock Recalled Sharing a Tour Bus With Dolly Parton

Sandra Bullock recalled Dolly Parton’s down-to-earth side.
The Hollywood actress recalled working with Parton on the 2005 comedy Miss Congeniality 2: Armed and Fabulous, where the country legend played herself.
“I hated flying for the longest time, and I used to just take a tour bus everywhere, and I would sleep on the tour bus,” she told People at the premiere.
When “9 to 5” singer arrived in Las Vegas for filming, she pulled her own tour bus up next to Bullock’s.
“I think it was pink, of course,” she remembered with a laugh.
The 62-year-old said she offered Parton a massive hotel room, but the singer had other plans.
“And I said, ‘Okay, so, Miss Parton, we’ve got a hotel and room for you that’s massive.’ And she goes, ‘No, I’ll stay in the bus,’” she added.

She then asked the country legend where she planned to get her hair and makeup done.

“Then I’m sleeping on the bus,” Bullock told her.
