Sandra Bullock recalled Dolly Parton’s down-to-earth side.

The Hollywood actress recalled working with Parton on the 2005 comedy Miss Congeniality 2: Armed and Fabulous, where the country legend played herself.

“I hated flying for the longest time, and I used to just take a tour bus everywhere, and I would sleep on the tour bus,” she told People at the premiere.

When “9 to 5” singer arrived in Las Vegas for filming, she pulled her own tour bus up next to Bullock’s.

“I think it was pink, of course,” she remembered with a laugh.

The 62-year-old said she offered Parton a massive hotel room, but the singer had other plans.

“And I said, ‘Okay, so, Miss Parton, we’ve got a hotel and room for you that’s massive.’ And she goes, ‘No, I’ll stay in the bus,’” she added.

She then asked the country legend where she planned to get her hair and makeup done.

“And she goes, ‘Oh, I’ll do it on the bus,’” the Bird Box actress recalled.

When Parton confirmed that she would also be sleeping on the bus, she decided she would join her.

“Then I’m sleeping on the bus,” Bullock told her.

“So she and I slept side-by-side on the bus,” the Oscar winner shared.

Bullock also reflected on the “Jolene” singer’s larger-than-life presence, insisting the singer’s impact will continue long after her death.

“She’s here. She sprinkles everywhere,” she said, adding, “She’s not going anywhere.”

The film producer also reflected on Parton’s enormous legacy, saying she was “absolutely underrated.”

“Only in her absence does everyone realize how brilliant she was and how much we need her. There’s no one else left like her," she said.

“I hope in her passing there’s a massive legacy she leaves behind—a responsibility of how to act and be as a human being,” she added.
