Selling Sunset star Emma Hernan is spilling the tea on her unexpected connection with A-lister Ben Affleck before he reunited with old flame Jennifer Lopez.
"He may or may not have been texting me," the blonde beauty, 30, said of Affleck during the latest episode the Netflix show's fifth season, which aired on Friday, April 22.
"He may or may not have asked to grab ... coffee a few times," she stated, according to Us Weekly.
During the episode, Hernan opened up about her experience with the Gone Girl star to castmate Chrishell Stause, who asked her if she ever used the celebrity dating app Raya.
"Remember when Ben Affleck went viral because he, like, sent some girl [something],” Stause asked.
Hernan replied that she did remember the headlines because she was apparently one of the people Affleck, 49, had been messaging before he rekindled his romance with JLo, 52.

"You could've foiled Bennifer," Stause replied, adding, "He was on the hunt."
Prior to reconnecting with Lopez, the hunky actor was linked to his Deep Water costar, Ana de Armas, from whom he split in early 2021. (He was also previously married to fellow Hollywood star Jennifer Garner, who is the mother of his three children.)
According to Hernan, her exchange with Affleck happened "right before" he reunited with the Selena actress in April 2021.
While she insisted she and Affleck never met in person, she did recall the Justice League star's "opening pick up line," which was about his home state of Massachusetts, where the real estate agent is also originally from.
"We have the Boston connection," she told Stause. "It was very sweet."
While Hernan had her chance to start up a romance with Affleck, the actor is clearly spoken for now, as he recently got down on one knee to ask Lopez for her hand in marriage.

The on-again pair were previously engaged back in the early 2000s, before famously breaking things off in 2004.
But now they appear to be stronger than ever, as they are already planning an intimate ceremony to commemorate their love for good this time.
