The reality star duo dated on and off from 2018 until 2020, but after almost 3 years of a rocky relationship, the high profile pair decided it was best to part ways.
"We just realized that we are better off as friends, and we’re going to keep it that way," LeCroy told Page Six. "He has a great family, and I hope that he finds this feeling, because it’s a great feeling. I can’t lie."
Though the tv personality admitted she has not yet spoken to her ex about her shocking engagement to new beau, Brett — whom she has only been dating for several months — she spilled to the outlet that regardless of their previous relationship struggles, they have "gotten along great so far" as friends.
Despite their history, the reality star is optimistic their friendship will be just fine. "I hope he shows some maturity and supports me and is happy for me," the blonde beauty mused, referring to the Summer House alum. "He knows what I want in my life and to actually see that this is becoming a reality, I think that he’ll be happy for me."
As far as her current romance is concerned, LeCroy couldn't help but gush about her future hubby. "I knew the first day. When I met him with all my girlfriends, I said, ‘I’m going to marry that man,’ and they were like, ‘Oh, Madison, whatever. We always say, stuff like that.’ I was like, ‘I’m not kidding. I know it.'"
She described their first meeting as "love at first sight" and claimed the moment was loaded with romantic tension.
"I just felt that I couldn’t break eye contact with him. He couldn’t break eye contact with me," the Southern Charm alum dished. "It was just this instant chemistry that I could not break. I was like, this guy just looks straight through my soul in the best way possible."
