Failed Los Angeles mayoral candidate and reality show castoff Spencer Pratt slammed Jimmy Kimmel for striking up a relationship with now-wife Molly McNearney when they were co-workers, asking, "Isn’t this what Harvey Weinstein did?"

Pratt made the post to explicitly liken the late-night host to the convicted s--- offender, following a recent interview in which Kimmel's spouse recalled the origins of their workplace romance.

Appearing on the "Armchair Expert" podcast, McNearney detailed how she and Kimmel began dating: at the time, she was a head writer, and Kimmel was her boss.

Jimmy Kimmel and his wife, Molly McNearney, worked together before they began dating.

McNearney was hired in 2004 as an executive producer's assistant on his late-night talk show, Jimmy Kimmel Live!.

McNearney admitted she initially thought dating the comedian was a "terrible idea" due to the power dynamic.

“I was very nervous about it. I thought it was a terrible idea. … I was very skittish. I just kept thinking, statistically, this is not going to work out, and your life isn’t going to change, but mine does. And that’s what freaked me out. Because I had worked really, really hard,” she said.

Spencer Pratt compared Jimmy Kimmel's marriage to Harvey Weinstein's crimes.

“The first few months, we were very, very quiet,” McNearney recalled. “I was very nervous about it changing the work dynamic, and I was in a room of mostly men, and we had a great thing going on … and I didn’t want it to change.”

The couple went public with the relationship in 2009 and got married in 2013. They have two children.

Pratt shared a Page Six article reporting on McNearney's comments with his pointed question. His post sparked a wave of critical social media responses, with other users mirroring the comparison and calling Kimmel "Harvey Weinstein 2.0.”

“Isn’t this what Harvey Weinstein did?” Pratt, 43, wrote via X on Monday, August 24, along with the article titled “When Jimmy Kimmel’s wife knew he ‘wanted to f---’ during ‘bad idea’ romance: ‘He was my boss.'”

Weinstein, a serial sexual predator and rapist, used his immense power as a Hollywood mogul to abuse women, which ultimately led to his arrest, multiple trials, and convictions for sexual assault.

Jimmy Kimmel poked fun at Spencer Pratt's failed bid to become the mayor of Los Angeles.

The public jab follows months of personal friction between the two.

Pratt ran a high-profile campaign for mayor of Los Angeles but failed to advance past the June primary.

Following Pratt's loss, Kimmel mocked him on Jimmy Kimmel Live! by jokingly renting a U-Haul truck to help Pratt fulfill a campaign promise to leave Los Angeles if he lost.

Pratt fired back at the time, pointing out that his Southern California home had previously burned down, meaning he had "nothing left to pack.”
