Tarek El Moussa has not been taking the cancellation of his hit show too hard.
The real estate investor, 40, took some time to lay out and relax in Mexico over the weekend with his wife Heather Rae Young after it was revealed that his years-long renovation show Flip Or Flop — that he starred on alongside ex-wife Christina Haack — was coming to an end after ten years.
"Nothing beats Cabo, had the best weekend laughing with some of my best girlfriends and soaking up the sun with my sweet husband 🤍," the Selling Sunset star, 34, captioned a sweet Instagram photo of herself and El Moussa lounging in the sun together. "Thank you @therealtarekelmoussa for planning this little surprise getaway!"
The former HGTV star shared a vacation snap of his own to his Instagram account of he and his spouse enjoying their time at the beach together writing: "Sunday Funday with Her @heatherraeyoung 💙🍹🏖."
As OK! previously reported, El Moussa and his former spouse, 38 — with whom he shares children Taylor, 11, and Brayden, 6 — announced their renovation show will not be coming back for an eleventh season.

"I will be forever grateful to have had a series for a decade," Haack said in a statement. "It's a huge accomplishment and everyone who worked on the show should be very proud."
"The series made it through ups and downs and trust me it wasn't always easy," she noted adding, "I'm looking forward to my next chapter and working in positive, fun and creative environments. I'm ready to let go of the stress and enjoy life and all it has to offer."
Ending their joint venture was a long time coming after the Flipping 101 With Tarek El Moussa star and the Christina On The Coast personality split in 2016 (subsequently divorcing in 2018) with El Moussa remarrying Young in October of last year.
“It’s not ideal to have two exes who share children working together so closely while their significant others are just standing by," an insider told the New York Post of the decision to end the show.
“Tarek and Christina are generally cordial,” a separate insider claimed to People. “They’re co-parenting and nothing gets in the way of that. The show was just too intimate of a setting at this point and it was time to close that chapter.”
