Taylor Swift discussed her songwriting process for the Grammy Museum’s Icon Sessions.

"Just saying something, dramatic, shocking and wild, doesn't make it something that's gonna help people, resonate with people, be an important story that sits in people's minds, hearts and souls," Swift, 36, shared of how she puts together her hit tunes.

"We have to be purposeful. You can't just scream something crazy..." she added, prompting laughter from the audience, "and be like, 'I'm a confessional songwriter.'"

Olivia Rodrigo insisted she doesn't 'have beef' with anyone despite the yearslong rumors.

The ladies were once on great terms, with the Disney Channel alum revealing Swift was one of her biggest inspirations — however, things turned sour when Rodrigo initially didn't credit the blonde beauty on her song "Déjà Vu" even though the bridge melody was similar to Swift's "Cruel Summer."

Rodrigo then retroactively added Swift to the credits.

The 'Vampire' crooner said she doesn't read what critics have to say about her.

While neither of the stars have confirmed they're no longer friends, they haven't been seen together since.

Rodrigo admitted she was "a little caught off guard" by how the drama sparked headlines, but in another interview, the star insisted she doesn't "have beef with anyone."

"I'm very chill. I keep to myself. I have my four friends and my mom, and that's really the only people I talk to, ever," she insisted. "There's nothing to say… There's so many Twitter conspiracy theories. I only look at alien conspiracy theories.”

Taylor Swift sang along to Olivia Rodrigo's 2024 Grammys performance despite feud allegations.

Rodrigo was directly asked about the rumors on a May episode of the "Popcast" podcast, to which she said, "I don't really read too far into it."

"I think that's part of the territory, part of what comes with the job," the "Driver's License" vocalist continued. "I think if I dove into every internet detective or sleuth — if I got things right or wrong, about my life or any of my relationships — I think I’d just go crazy. Like there’s not enough time in a day."

Rodrigo added that she's trying to be more "detached" from gossip, sharing, "That is something I hope can be good at these days."

Nonetheless, the 14-time Grammy winner was seen singing along when Rodrigo performed "Vampire" at the 2024 Grammys.
