The last season of The View received steady ratings, and while all six co-hosts will be back for the milestone 30th season, insiders claimed none of them received a pay raise.
Sources said the show was hit with budget cuts before it returns on Tuesday, September 8.
An insider claimed none of 'The View' co-hosts received pay raises for Season 30.
"Nobody took a pay cut, but nobody got a raise," an insider spilled to Rob Shuter's Naughty But Nice Substack. "The message was simple: We love you, we want you back, but the check isn’t getting bigger."
Another insider said the TV landscape has changed over the years.
"Once upon a time, a hit show reaching Season 30 meant every agent walked in demanding another million. Those days are over," they stated. "In today’s TV business, keeping your job and your salary is the win."
Whoopi Goldberg allegedly earns more money than all of her costars.
The source said the lack of a pay bump isn't about ABC not respecting Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, Ana Navarro, Sunny Hostin, Sara Haines and Alyssa Farah Griffin.
“They’re extremely well paid. But television economics have changed," they explained. "Automatic raises simply aren’t automatic anymore."
That being said, longtime hosts like Goldberg and Behar — who allegedly earn around $8 million and $7 million, respectively — make much more than newbies like Griffin.

Whoopi Goldberg Boasts About Her Checks From 'The View'
The 'Ghost' actress admitted fans 'would be shocked' by her 'The View' paycheck.
The EGOT winner recently commented on her salary while appearing on the "Baby, This Is Keke Palmer" podcast.
When Keke Palmer asked the mom-of-one what she "loves" most about the morning show, she bluntly replied, "The check. I love the check."
"I can only imagine what that check is," the Nickelodeon alum said.
"No, no, you can’t," Goldberg admitted. "Trust me. You can’t. You would be shocked. As soon as they showed you that check, you’d be like, ‘What the...?’"
"I look around every day before I leave my house, and I see my family, and I see pictures of folks and I think, ‘Oh, yeah, it’s good to have a job.’ And I come to work," she continued of keeping her passion for the series alive. "A lot of people don’t have jobs, so, I’m lucky. I like to talk, I like talking about stuff, I like people."
'I Work for a Living'
Whoopi Goldberg ruffled feathers when she referred to herself as a 'working person.'
Despite bragging about her paydays, she also referred to herself as a member of the working class in 2024, which sparked backlash online.
"I appreciate that people are having a hard time. Me too, I work for a living," Goldberg explained as the co-hosts discussed people struggling due to inflation. "If I had all the money in the world, I would not be here. OK? So, I’m a working person, and my kid has to feed her family, and my great-granddaughter has to be fed by her family."
