Thomas Markle Jr. Calls Estranged Sister Meghan Markle 'Shallow,' Claims 'Money' & 'Fame' Changed The Duchess

Thomas Markle Jr. slammed his estranged sister Meghan Markle on the premiere of Big Brother VIP Australia.
The 55-year-old called the Duchess of Sussex “shallow” and revealed he hasn’t seen his sibling in nearly a decade, reported The Sun. “Last time [I saw her] was at my grandmother's funeral in 2011, and she took off after that and went to Canada,” he said. “We were close before.”
Thomas Jr. went on to declare that “money changed her” after she tasted the celebrity life after being cast on Suits. “Money and fame went to her head really bad. I guess when you are introduced to the one percent of society — that is most likely the reason that happened to her when she didn't have anything before,” he continued.
OK! previously reported, Thomas Jr. spilled he had “no idea” how his sister landed Prince Harry, noting she was “cold” towards her ex-husband Trevor Engelson.
“The guy she was married to the first time, Trevor, have you seen those Saw movies? This guy owns that production company. That guy just took care of her. She was adored by him,” he claimed, adding: “And she just walked all over him and dumped him, that fast. After being married, she sent him the ring in the mail - is that cold or what?”
Meghan and Engelson were reportedly first linked in 2004. They tied the knot in 2011 before divorcing 18 months later. The estranged couple cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the split.
Thomas Jr. then made the shocking claim that Meghan will dump the Duke of Sussex. “Harry's on the chopping block next,” he scoffed.
The royal rebels were introduced to each other by mutual friends in 2016 and began dating shortly after. Harry popped the question in 2017 and the duo tied the knot in an extravagant ceremony at St. George’s Chapel in England in May 2018.
Thomas Jr. was not invited to the wedding. In a previous clip from Big Brother VIP, he explained how he was “baffled” by being 86’ed from the ceremony. “It’s hurtful given how close we once were,” he said.
