Vicki Gunvalson's Former 'RHOC' Castmate & Andy Cohen React To Her Ex Steve Lodge Getting Engaged To New Girlfriend
Vicki Gunvalson has her friends in her corner after her former fiancé Steve Lodge revealed that he is engaged again.
The former Real Housewives of Orange County star, 59, and the former police officer, 63, split in September after getting engaged in April of 2019. Now Lodge has asked his girlfriend Janis Carlson, 37, to marry him after only three months of dating.
"I did ask Janis on December 20th if she would become Mrs. Steve Chavez Lodge, and she happily agreed," the almost politician told People in a statement. "We are both very excited, incredibly happy, totally in love and look forward to our life together."
Gunvalson's former Bravo boss Andy Cohen threw his love and support behind her as he tweeted on Monday, January 3, "If @vgunvalson doesn't find a GREAT guy this year, it won't be a good year. She deserves it. #FullLoveTankForVG."
The insurance broker's BFF and costar Tamra Judge also expressed her support as she wrote on her Instagram Story that Gunvalson "dodged the lodge."
The "OG of the OC" gave a clear statement to Page Six about her ex's recent news. “I really don’t want to give him any more publicity. He’s a fame whore," she stated.

As OK! previously reported, the former couple had quite the messy split as Gunvalson accused Lodge of cheating on her while they were still together.
“Vicki and I ended our engagement and relationship in December of 2020,” Lodge claimed to Page Six. “I did this in person verbally and explained it to her in writing.” He claimed that they tried to remain friends but Guvalson wanted to still be more.
The California native then further alleged that he and the businesswoman had not “been in an intimate relationship since September of 2020."
