Who Is Katie Holmes' New Man? All About Her Boyfriend Jason Bard Yarmosky

Katie Holmes has found love again.

More than a decade after her divorce from Tom Cruise, the Dawson's Creek alum was spotted getting cozy with a new man during a PDA-filled outing on July 10. Multiple news outlets later identified her new boyfriend as New York City-based artist Jason Bard Yarmosky.

Here's everything to know about Yarmosky and his relationship with Holmes.

Holmes' new boyfriend was born and raised in The Big Apple, according to his bio for Guild Hall.

Yarmosky has deep ties to the East End of Long Island, where he has spent time since early childhood. He returned to his family's longtime home following the deaths of his grandparents amid the COVID-19 pandemic, per the website.

"Growing up, he often visited museums where he noticed the historical aspect of idealized beauty, which often emphasized youth, yet he yearned for a varied perspective that reflected a broader personal experience," the bio adds.

In 2010, Yarmosky graduated from the School of Visual Arts in New York City with a BFA.

His art — which "mixes traditional 17th- and 18th-century painting techniques with contemporary imagery" — is inspired by his late grandparents, with whom he had a close relationship growing up. His grandfather and grandmother were the subjects of his portraits for over a decade, "helping him explore the complex aspects of growing older including vulnerability, care, wisdom, and humor."

His website also notes, "These works became a celebration of aging, resisting cultural tendencies that diminish joy, individuality, and dignity in later life."

It echoes what he shared in a video on Instagram, revealing, "The first few paintings I ever made were my grandmother dressed up as a bunny and my grandfather as a cowboy."

Over the years, Yarmosky has exhibited his work at different institutions, including the Brooklyn Museum, Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art, San Antonio Museum of Art and Yellowstone Art Museum. Most recently, his "Timeless Women in New York" portrait series was featured in the windows of Bergdorf Goodman's Fifth Avenue flagship.

According to an insider, Yarmosky and Holmes formed an immediate connection at a dinner and began seeing each other soon after.

"They went on a date shortly after and she finds him interesting," the source revealed. "Katie has always been drawn to people who are creative. She loves being around people who are passionate about what they do. She enjoys learning and experiencing new things."

Yarmosky and Holmes first sparked dating rumors when they were photographed holding hands at a screening of The Invite at Regal UA East Hampton on July 10.

"He was whispering in her ear, and she was laughing, they seemed very easy together and there was a smile on her face all night," a source told People at the time. "They sat together during the movie, she had her head on his shoulder at one point. They looked very cute."

The pair stepped out together several more times afterward, including dates in downtown Manhattan and an appearance at the Soho Sessions concert series on July 21.
