A 56-year-old woman named Dawn Light was arrested outside the Plymouth courthouse around 3:40 p.m., where Lindsay Clancy's trial was taking place on Tuesday, September 1.
Per the New York Post, State Police identified the woman as a Sutton resident of Massachusetts, a town in Worcester County.
Light was expected to be arraigned the next day, Wednesday, September 2, on a charge involving intimidation of a witness, jurors, or a person providing information in a criminal proceeding.
However, the authorities did not provide further details about the allegations or confirm whether they were connected to Clancy's case.
A person was accused of filming jurors outside the courthouse during Lindsay Clancy’s trial.
According to CBS Boston reporter Kristina Rex, sources told her in a post on X, "Someone (who is not a media member) was arrested outside" the courthouse after allegedly being "accused of filming jurors in Lindsay Clancy’s trial."
"Jurors allegedly saw the filming happening," she wrote.
Lindsay Clancy Jury Remained Deadlocked
The jury spent more than 23 hours deliberating in the Lindsay Clancy case before being dismissed for the day.
Per the New York Post, the 12-member jury, made up of nine women and three men, was dismissed for the day after more than 23 hours of deliberations.
Earlier, the panel told the judge they were unable to reach a unanimous decision.
The judge instructed the jurors to continue their discussions, as the case has gripped the nation.
Legal experts said a mistrial could be possible if the panel remains unable to reach a unanimous verdict.
Veteran Boston criminal defense attorney Peter Elikann shared his perspective on the case.
"There was always going to be a very high probability that there would be a deadlock jury in this case," Elikann told the New York Post.

Lindsay Clancy faced charges in the deaths of her three children, which took place in January 24, 2023.
Clancy, 36, faced charges in the deaths of her three children, Cora, 5, Dawson, 3, and eight-month-old Callan.
The children died at their Duxbury home on January 24, 2023.
Clancy's defense argued that she was experiencing severe postpartum psychosis and sought a verdict of not guilty by reason of insanity.
Her attorney, Kevin Reddington, also made his position clear if the jury remained deadlocked.
"Absolutely," Reddington told the reporters.
Reddington said he would represent Clancy again if the case went to a retrial.

Kevin Reddington received support from people following Lindsay Clancy’s case.
Reddington has drawn strong support from women who followed Clancy’s case, with some traveling to Massachusetts to attend the trial.
Among them were Houston mother Laurel Witwen and her daughter, Hannah Estrada, who approached Reddington outside the courthouse.
"We came from Houston to watch you. I wish someone would have held my daughter’s hand," Witwen, 65, told Reddington, according to the New York Post.
