10 Photos From Princess Charlotte's Christening And How Princess Diana Was Honored By Kate Middleton And Prince William

The whole family is together! The royals gathered for Princess Charlotte’s christening on July 5 but it wasn’t just the first time Prince William, Kate Middleton and Prince George were photographed with the new baby. The late Princess Diana was honored in the celebration!

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge chose a special location as an ode to Will’s late mother, whose first name was chosen to be Charlotte’s middle name.

The royals chose the Church of St. Mary Magdalene in Sandringham where Diana was christened in 1961. But that wasn’t the only way they kept Diana’s memory alive.

Kate and William chose Diana’s niece, Laura Fellowes, as one of Charlotte’s five godparents. The others are friends and relatives of the couple, but do not include Prince Harry or Kate’s sister, Pippa Middleton.

The family of four arrived in style for the ceremony, with Prince George, who is almost 2, dressed identically to his dad in 1984 visiting his little brother in the hospital.

Also in attendance were Queen Elizabeth II, Prince Philip, Prince Charles and his wife Camilla, Michael and Carole Middleton, Pippa and James Middleton.

Middleton wore a white Alexander McQueen coat with a matching hat as she pushed Charlotte in a pram.
