Abby Lee Miller isn’t letting cancer bring her down. After recently finishing her fifth round of chemotherapy, the Dance Moms star took a break from her hospital room to take a ride around Los Angeles in an electric wheelchair.
Abby was spotted wearing black shorts, a pink Abby Lee Dance Company shirt, and a pink baseball cap as she drove around L.A. in the wheelchair. She appeared to have a set of medical tubes attached to the upper part of her left arm.
Earlier this month, a pal of the former Dance Moms star told Entertainment Tonight that Abby has “been very positive throughout” her cancer treatment. “Considering what she is going through, she is doing really well. She’s ready to get back at it in her life,” the insider shared.
In April, Abby was diagnosed with Burkitt lymphoma, a form of non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma, just days after she left prison following an eight-month prison sentence for bankruptcy fraud.

Despite the devastating diagnosis, the friend said Abby’s “future is very promising.” “She has a good prognosis,” the friend said. “This is a bump in the road. She’ll come back stronger than ever after this.”
Throughout her cancer battle, Abby has kept fans updated via social media. On July 20, she revealed on Instagram that she’d finished her fifth round of chemo. “I think I deserve a little treat today, so I’m putting on my make-up just in case!” she captioned a pic.
