Adele and Simon Konecki split after three years of marriage, and she is now healing her body and mind. The singer took up Reformer Pilates with her friend, Adya Field, in effort to put herself as a priority moving forward. The results? A new state of mind, and significant weight loss. Adele lost over 15 pounds and looks better than ever. Although she had made healthier strides in the past to lose weight, this new routine has benefited her in more ways than one.
“It’s a bonus that she has shifted some weight," a source told The Sun."Her mates are glad she’s letting loose and there’s nothing but good feelings towards her. She’s got a new lease of life.”
Reformer Pilates strives to help improve posture, flexibility and balance for the classes’ attendees. Overall core strength is improved as well, and ultimately the class results in weight loss. The workout regime has been working wonders for Adele, and the lifestyle switch seems to be a positive creative influence.
Back in May, Adele hinted at a new album. "I’ve changed drastically," the singer wrote on Instagram, celebrating her 31st birthday and reflecting on how challenging 30 was for her.
31 is treating Adele well so far. Over the weekend, On June 15, the songstress partied with The Spice Girls and showed off her slimmed down figure. Her childhood favorites performed at Wembley Stadium, and the artist “cried, laughed screamed, danced, reminisced and fell back in love with her 10 year old self.”
Adele, 31 and Simon, 45 have one child together, Angelo, 6. Although the pair had been living separately for years, they remained committed to raising Angelo together.
